A four-week summer workshop for young aspiring music makers aged 12 to 16, run inside a real working recording studio in Plymouth.
Students spend two hours a week learning how music is actually built, from the ground up, using the same software and equipment that our producers use every day. It is hands-on from session one, with small groups and professional tutors guiding every step!
Students will:
Learn how beats, basslines and melodies are built from scratch
Get comfortable using the same software as working producers
Understand how a track is structured from intro to finish
Make creative decisions and develop their own sound
Leave with a finished, original track they made themselves
