Hello, I’m Josh, a guitarist with nearly 20 years of playing experience across live performance, recording, and as a Guitar teacher in Plymouth.

I grew up learning guitar by playing along to bands like Kings of Leon, Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, and The Rolling Stones, which shaped both my sound and my approach to music. Today, I’m the lead guitarist for local band The Rhodes, and my core influences remain rooted in modern and classic guitar-driven music, including Kasabian, Oasis, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Career highlights

Over the years, I’ve built up a wide range of professional experience, including:

• Performing on 12 studio recordings, both with my own band and as a session guitarist

• Playing live at renowned venues such as the Barrowland Ballroom (Glasgow), O2 Academy (Leicester), The Foundry (Torquay), and The Princess Pavilion (Falmouth)

• Supporting Tom Meighan on three separate occasions
