Bass Guitar Lessons
With Kane Revell
Hi! I’m Kane.
I’m a bassist with over six years of live performance experience, playing shows at venues across the UK. Most of my live work has been split between guitar and bass, performing regularly and building strong, real-world stage experience along the way.
I’ve been lucky enough to support Tom Meighan at some incredible venues, including the Barrowlands in Glasgow and the O2 Academy in Leicester, experiences that really shaped my confidence as a live musician and performer.
Alongside performing, I’ve spent the past three years working as a bass guitar tutor in Plymouth. I teach bass guitar with a focus on practical playing, solid technique, and understanding how music works, rather than just memorising shapes or songs. Lessons can include music theory, sheet music reading, rhythm and timing, and genre-specific playing, all tailored around the student’s goals and interests.
I also bring a strong working knowledge of guitar and bass maintenance and audio gear. From pedals and pedalboards to amplifiers and live setups, I help students understand their equipment and get the best possible sound, whether they’re playing at home, rehearsing, or preparing for the stage.
